The Jewelry section at Costco always seems to have a real nice selection of watches for women in your price range. They also have a great return policy, so if she does not like it, she can easily return/exchange it for one she does like.

+1 for the Invicta, but not the girlist of watches

Ah... good point...

I've over shot my coffee intake today... Waaaayyy too much... The brain isn't keeping up with the fingers.

I would be interested in what Gil believes to be a good watch in that time frame because I don't have as many baller watches as some of you. I'm too hard on them. Outside of a Rolex and an Omega, what I have with stand my abuse daily. For that reason, I'm a huge Suunto fan.

Under 400 I'd say Citizen is your best bet. Maybe a used Hamilton, Welder, Nixon. Anything under 500 should be bought on looks and not mechanicals.

I'm 99.99% positive Gil does not handle watches under 400 bucks. Sounds like he was thinking you meant watch Bands.

Thanks guys! Looks like I have my research area cut out.
To recap: Hamilton and Khaki seem to be the most popular, while Invicta, Nixon, and Armani were tossed around.

Any more suggestions? I'm assuming that Gil doesn't deal with this low end of the watch spectrum, but if you (Gil) do, send me a PM! Great suggestions so far, the lady is really digging the Hamilton H32395113.

The problem with mine is that I bought it (actually, my parents) at the crustiest, oldest menswear store in Atlanta. I believe, although I'm not a watch expert, that the main spring may have some issues: The watch stops frequently, even when I'm wearing it. The problem has persisted for approximately 18 out of 23 months of ownership.

Of course the store is not equipped to work on a Hamilton and furthermore their failure to keep electronic records of any kind means that they have no record of the sale. (Remember that I didn't actually purchase it; my parents bought it as a graduation gift. The receipt disappeared )

I was going to ask about Citizen as well. I've had several iterations of the Wingman, and currently wear the Skyhawk. Never had issues with any of them.

I love my Nixon's - I have about 8 of them. My Step Dad is a Huge Invicta Fan So I have about 10 of those - Mostly my Beaters, and a few others, collection is coming up on the 30 mark...

This is one of my favorites - Actually wearing it today. A little on the pricier side ($650)

I've been eying this Model as well - Prob pick it up soon
