FSOT: Glashutte Original PanoRetroGraph - Watch of the Year 2001
This watch features one of the coolest and most useful complications I have seen: a flyback chronograph with a countdown timer and chime all housed within one of the most beautiful movements in the world. It is a great "stealthy" watch as most people are not familiar with GO and even if they are, they think it's a Panograph as the PRG is EXTREMELY rare, limited to 150 in WG and long sold out.
This is the best sounding PanoRetroGraph I have heard, the watch was fully serviced by GO 18 months ago (over $3500). I also recently purchased GO's new bracelet which is probably the best on the market: very solid with an ingenious microadjustment system in the buckle. The bracelet only comes in polished stainless steel so I had my watch maker brush finish it to match the white gold case. It will also come with the original black strap, the blue strap which comes on the platinum model, and the WG deployant as well as box and papers. The watch is of clear provenance and was originally purchased from the AD here in LA. Condition is 90%+ and trade value is approx $30,000 +/-.
I would like to trade for a Nautilus (5980, 5712, 3712) or perhaps an AP RO Skeleton Perpetual. The Nautiluses seem to be flooding the market recently, but I am looking to actually wear the piece; no need for sealed or perfect condition.
If you are seriously interested in the watch, please contact me and I will make you a great deal. I have an opportunity to buy a rare piece that I would like not to miss.
