Thanks for the heads up about the saphire I was thinking about that and it'll go on the watch once the service is done.

few years ago i serviced my dad's circa 1979 Datejust and it runs great to this day.. the AD notified me that i should get the sapphire and so i did.. it's amazing how "new" or let's say clean those DJs look with a simple service!
personally would love to score one that is SS and then get a sporty dial for it and the red date-wheel. kindly keep us posted with what you do and when you do it, would love more pics and later before/after

The formula 1 watches are awesome. I have always wanted one of the F1 chronos from the 90's.
