here's a pic of the torn strap
tried the new 44mm steel/ceramic white dial roo. it was interesting to say the least in real, pics definitely do NOT do it justice in terms of presence/size. sits high on the wrist, i loved its heft.
not a fan of the big fat rubber though (nor the tang buckle of course) but i was very happy with its dial and the red accents.
caseback is a really nice touch

not regretting getting the GP one bit, as i did not bother to wait for the newer 44 roo's to try them on; looking forward to trying out the black dial carbon/ceramic

newer style Royal Oak Offshore 44mm white dial
ss case, black ceramic bezel, transparent caseback, wide 24mm rubber strap

it came out this year at SIHH
the ROO line is getting a facelift (departure from big arabic numerals, sportier look, larger case and higher set on the wrist, larger push button brackets)
the other watches in the same line for this year are:

black dial, carbon case, black ceramic bezel

and the black dial, pink gold case, ceramic bezel

Anyone have any input on vintage seamasters? Looking for something gold and dressy.

Here's my newest seiko.

SoCal is an unknown quantity at this point
Got the "new" SKX007 and it is anything but... I sent a scathing email to the seller on Amazon and basically tore their ass a new one. So, hopefully they send me an actual new watch, or at least refund all of my $$.

So, I am just rocking the new G-Shock on a ZULU strap, which is pretty hard to mess up.
