anyone own an IWC Ingenieur?
i like how this Chrono AMG looks with the strap

more so than on bracelet

gemnation has the one on strap for 5k. seems awfully reasonable
42.5mm x 13.5mm

a very clean dial here (AMG)

Climate Action: a very interesting combo of white dial and yellow accents, AND black ceramic .. hmm

any real wristshot pics will be appreciated

Last one is better, Big Ingenieur > AMG IWC.

i agree, the Climate Action is best
but it is not a Big Ingenieur

the climate action is 44x14
the Big is 45.5x15
there are variations of it of course, but this is the ss one on leather

chrono is legit, but busy

the climate action tops the Ingenieur list in my book, the white/black/yellow is exciting .. would work great for the summer 6arg eldeshdasha huh?

SoCal is an unknown quantity at this point
I like the big Ingenieur. I had one on my wrist in London a month ago, and almost bought it right there. They don't give AD discounts in airports though...

So stopped in to a little store today that had some PP's. Tried out a Nautilus good feel but all wrong colors in rose gold. Tried on a 5960P Blue dial today. Watch feels great on. Doesn't feel like a under 40mm watch at all by the way. Wife's wandering about the store and I walk over with it on. She says looks cool. I like your Blue FP J more, so You already have a blue watch. She says if you like it get it. I then tell her it's over 80k. She says HELL NO...I thought it looked like a sub 20k Watch and your other one looks way better I have to agree. After having a 5960 on I'm glad I didn't buy the gray dial last year when I thought about it.

While it's a cool piece I think the IWC Perpetual I'm thinking about for less than half the money is much better for me.

Gray....Mike you guys have the right watch for sure. PM when selling please

Thank you Mark! Will do for sure. I'm on the process of looking for a white gold or stainless steel version. I'm not used to red-gold and it's a bit strange to wear casually for me.
Will still hang on to it for now - still in two minds

In comparison with everything else, it's good value.

IWC perpetuals are definitely gorgeous. An often under looked, and possible my favorite, is the da vinci line. I love the tonneau shape. This one is the Kurt Klaus edition, the watchmaker who designed the IWC perp calendar, notable for the fact that it was the first that could be manipulated all through the crown. Moreover, it is probably the best priced perp on the market. MSRP 24k, but I see it much cheaper
