My other half has no issues with my watch purchases.. as long as she receives a ladies piece from the same brand. Works out quite well in most instances.. I get a perpetual PP and she receives a quartz.

That AP diver is an absolute beauty!

A diver makes a nice daily imo.

It was my wife who convinced me to go for my first big watch purchase about a year ago - IWC Aquatimer 2000. It came with the rubber strap but she ended up picking me up the bracelet which was a great surprise!

diver is great with its heft on the wrist
the roo bracelet has grown on me ever since seeing it irl but the price of one alone is ridiculous (as is the strap, and the watch itself lol)

if only i could keep their brushed steel looking like that
