i liked it and appreciated the sportiness. not sure what the Tag bashing is on about but it seems to me like it's similar to the Rolex bashing and is only US-restricted
edit: either watch cannot be priced at over 6.5k for me to consider

Some of the TAG bashing came from me. Not in regards to appearance, I think they look great. It was service. My carrera chronograph had its stem fall out 2 years and about 4 months after purchase. 2 year warranty. cost me $700+ to repair. As i have other watches that I wear, and the watch was not subjected to a harsh life, I was very disappointed with the quality/service.
In comparison, my Explorer II functioned perfectly for 10 years, when I sent it in for a maintenance/lube etc. They changed the crystal, took the whole watch apart, replaced a bunch of worn parts, polished, etc for $700. YMMV.
