the more i look at it the more i'm amazed by it. the combination of all the rich colors just work perfectly balanced. it's not easy to pull it off.

I ended up just building a PVD'd faux sub (doesnt say rolex or anything) because it was going to be cheaper than getting all the work done to a 007.

 

Very excited to have this on its way to me. JLC Duometre Lunaire. My dream watch since it was first announced. First one I have really liked since my decade old JLC Master Moon.

 

Hmm it's an interesting piece. I was looking at it on the way to work on my phone and honestly thought it was a PP. Surprised to see it's an AP - it's quite different from their usual pieces in that it's not whacky aside from the strap. What color is the dial in the centre? I can't make it out but that's the only thing i'm not crazy about on the piece - it looks a little dull.

Depends on the price though - if it's > $30k (which i'm sure it is) I would spend my money elsewhere.

get the AP Jules Audemars -Skeleton Minute Repeater Tourbillon Chrono in Platinum. Or the equation of time.

 

I honestly think the "regular" Jules audemars self winding is one of the most spectacular dressy chronos in the business. I believe they start around $32k

 

Not bad. I've really started digging JLC's MC series. I just can't make up my mind which one I prefer. Memovox has the coolest and most useful function imo but I prefer the looks of the Chrono and Calendar. Really tough choice...
