Thank you! Unfortunately I am now out of town. They are seiko 5 sports military watches. I ordered the straps separately.

I don't know what watch I see in my future. I have honestly never been more pleased with what I have than I am right now: Rolex Deep Sea and Breitling Chrono Avenger Auto. I love my Lum-Tecs as well, but we will have to see what comes up in the future. I might be done with new watches... Crazy.

from experience, i can tell you this is the sensible-for-now-newly-engaged-socal speaking, i give you 10 months before you come back to your spending-on-watches ways.

Sure - this is the Vagabondage II from FPJ -
Made in 69 pieces in PT. Technically, you are supposed to own the Vagabondage I in order to obtain this piece. I do not own the first, but there are a few pieces scattered around that have been "unclaimed."
The vagabondage series from Journe is a "playful" watch and all Vaga pieces are to display the time in some type of "digital" format. To depart from the "standard" two hand concept.
Some say its crap - others say its great.
I have not yet seen this watch in person. Its very rare that I'll buy a watch like this without seeing it. Or at least trying it on at some point.
Thursday is the day - will keep you posted.
best regards,
asg

Put this on my wrist on Monday and it just felt right.

Tourneau edition one of 50, not special to IWC but that doesn't matter to me. but something about the rose gold on ivory face just looked right. I generally don't like or wear gold but something about this BP really got me.
edit: it's still in the store.

BTW I pre ordered this Lum-Tec, thought it was special too:

so i get an email from our good chap Mayoof to check out a tv channel. and it's this guy sporting a grand prix.
i don't want to sound like a hater, but i had no idea who he was and was actually kind of dumbstruck when i listened to him because he is NOT someone who you would think is into this sort of thing.
turns out he's saudi poet, supposedly very good, with the typical "i'm the sh1t" so-called poetry which sort of resembles the lame overall idea of rap-all-eyes-on-me-culture in the west, only with fancy vocabulary (which is impressive in arabic btw).
royal family members in KSA + UAE are known to hand out a lot of cash and gifts to those poets who write long praiseful poems, and the poets are not shy to admit it (or ask for it by saying they're not asking for it in their poems).
now about the watch: DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMMMNNNNNNNNN did it look good.. even on the wrong person/style
that combined with the chances of how and when i received the email leads me to want to believe that this is A SIGN!
