I'm buying this from SoCal so I'll get it when he gets back from the sandbox (mid-Feb). I wanted the TS special edition but I like the idea of an auto movement and I think this will have better resale if I ever want to get rid of it.

Congrats again on the Combat F1. Such a beautiful watch and definitely worth the wait.

^Smart thinking on the automatic movement. I spoke with someone at LumTec who mentioned that they will be releasing so e rubber strap options for the combat models soon. They should be a nice alternative to the NATO straps that come with them.

Oh nice. The cool thing about the Combat series is that it's a 22mm lug width and I've already got a few straps from some other watches in that size that I can use if I get sick of the NATO straps.

I'm curious to see how it'd look with a chunky leather band, especially like the one on the IWC Big Pilots.
