Kokekkoko and Shibucho

Two L.A. restaurants I wanted to mention that I ate at recently are Kokekkoko and Sushi Shibucho. Anybody been to either of these. I know there are two Shibuchos, i'm referring to the one in LA, not OC.

kokekkoko is the best yakitori spot in LA. if you're ever able to sample the "special, special heart," i'd recommend it. it takes 6 chickens just to make one skewer. it's usually reserved for special guests, very regular customers or friends of the owner.

Yes, i've had the special special hearts. My cousin is a friend of the owner. He has a plate with his name on it. Tomo San (sp) is the one who told us to go try Shibucho.

is shibucho the joint in west la that's run by tomo's former apprentice?

I dont think so. Shibucho is a sushi joint on Beverly blvd near Virgil. Has been there for about 30 years iirc. Definitely worth trying. Probably need reservations though.
