Going to Europe this summer
I'm taking my wife to Europe for 10 days in July for our 10th Anniversary. She doesn't know.. So the plan is to fly into Nice, spend a couple days in the French Riviera, a day or two in Monaco, then start heading north to Stuttgart to finish the trip with a Porsche factory tour before flying out of Frankfurt.
Any advice on must-do's, be it France, Italy, Switzerland or Germany? I am planning stays every 3 or 4 hrs along the way & can go any route, no real plans...gives us a couple other places to stay. Staying at ...Fairmont in Monaco...there is a nice castle/vineyard up towards Lyons, but haven't confirmed that route yet, just an idea...working on boutique type places to stay the rest of the time...could swing up through Geneve from there too. Can you tour any of the watch factory's? How about buying watches there? Worthwhile? Is there anywhere I should avoid driving?
Thanks in advance.

If you got time, try passing by Zürich. It's a very nice city divided by a lake with tons of nice shops. They got all kinds of watch boutiques if that's something you want to look into. Are you going to drive from cote d'azur up to Frankfurt?

Zurich is on the way, planned on making that a stop. Driving that route is the plan.
