So I thought its a good idea to discuss this years F1 Grand Prix in Monaco.
A little early you might think, when its still about 5 months to go, however we already had trouble to find a hotel with 4 free double rooms and within walking distance to the casino for a decent price.
I'm glad we managed though.

So who else is going to be there? Monaco is like a must-visit-event every year to me. I dont think anything comes close to Monaco during the F1 weekend. The sheer amount of nice cars, women, yachts is something you would hardly find anywhere else.

I've been going for the last 6 years and here is some pic to get you all in the mood

 

if Mo,Dutchnick and LABrit(+ some other Euro guys?) are in... I`ll join

 

When is it? What are hotel prices looking like? And what place did you chose to stay in? I would LOVE to attend this event.

The Grand Prix is on the 26th of May 2012.
We decided to arrive early on Thursday and leave Saturday afternoon to St. Tropez for two more days, as we are not really so much interested in the race itself.

I got one of the last rooms (I think) here:
Hotel Monaco | French Riviera Holiday Destination, Luxury Hotel near Monte Carlo

Which is one of the few hotels in walking distance to the Casino at a reasonable price (around 250 Euro per night, double room).
Even if you dont find a hotel in Monaco (but in one of the villages 10-20 km around it) I can highly recommend going there.

 

Ok guys and girls.
Monaco is coming up this weekend.
We are leaving Thursday morning around 6:30ish from Switzerland and will return Monday from St. Tropez.
Over 2000 HP in just 4 cars will hopefully get us there quickly.
Anybody else going?

well..I really thought about going but since no one of my peeps around here was willing/able to join I had rejected the idea of going - until now.
Maybe someone else joins...let`s see.

I have yet to meet any of the TS members, so no, just a few friends from my hometown and a few from Switzerland.
Can't ****ing wait!!!!!!!!!

 

Can't believe you're going to miss the race.

 

Plans have changed.
We are leaving Monaco only after the race now for just one night in St. Tropez.
I am still not interested in the race that much.
