Stockholm restaurants

Hey,
I am taking my parents in law and wife to Stockholm for three nights over NYE.
I am looking for some good traditional/conservative restaurants to take them to. They won't be into anything too trendy or experimental unfortunately.
Basically where would you take your parents/ grandparents?
I have booked at the grand for NYE for dinner because we are staying there, it is the only plan so far. I can't change the reservation so please don't tell me it sucks.
Thanks for your help,

Nice you're coming to Stockholm, I'm sure you'll like it here. Snow has just arrived and it's starting to get really christmasie. Grand is great, you won't be dissapointed. If I'm not mistaken they have 2 Michelin stars. Perfect place to be at for NYE

I can name a few restaurants which are good, central and not too experimental:
Villa Godthem
Gotland
Brasserie Godot
Fredsgatan 12 (F12)
Operakällaren
Halv Grek plus Turk
B.A.R.
Restaurang 1900
Grill

h-bo, would love to meet up for a coffe, let me know if you have time.

For restaurants I'd suggest:

Mathias Dahlgren: Matsalen (best in Stockholm and in the same building as your hotel)
http://www.mathiasdahlgren.com/

Esperanto
Esperanto Restaurang Stockholm

We have so many good restaurants tell us more of what kind of cuisine you like and it will be easier to recommend. Just get your reservations done asap.

We ended up going to riche, villa godthem and sturehof and the restaurants at the Grand (mathias dahlgren was closed unfortunately.. Nye was at the grand. You guys are very lucky to live in Stockholm... Awesome place. We will have to come back in the summer when there is some daytime.
Let me know if you ever come to Geneva, I should be able to recommend some places. Thank you.
