Seattle --> San Fran: Road Trip!

I'm going to be going through my 26GB of photos this weekend (came home and went straight to work, so haven't had much time) of my trip last week through the Pacific NW. Once again, major thanks to the incredible TS members who showed me and my wife such hospitality, and helped make the week much more enjoyable than I'd have been able to do on my own. Particular emphasis on Jason (Atomic 80), who showed up at our hotel at 7 am to give us the perfect rainy day tour of his beloved city!

I'll be posting pics-a-plenty over the weekend, but here's a teaser

Seattle skyline at night from the space needle.

A daydreaming seagull in Crescent City

A grove of redwoods in CA. The redwoods are without question in the top 3 amazing things I've seen in my life.

The Golden Gate bridge at night. I think I already may have posted this in another thread... sorry if I'm duplicating!

Thanks. And thanks again for the tip on Mother's Bistro in Portland. It was great!

Flying in - I'm assuming this is Mt. Rainier...

Beautiful cloudy Seattle from the plane

We took a boat ride to check out this city from the water

The Edgewater Hotel. A little dated, but really nice and unbeatable views

I was caught off guard to take that picture, and barely pulled my camera out to get it. Then I waited for a LONG time for another chance, but my wife wasn't having me sit there forever waiting..
