Ye the price is great because its everything a car guy would want and need and nothing else. If you want to do "other stuff" (sight seeing, tours, etc) you are free to do so on your own - but the base trip is a flight/hotel/Porsche

You should come along!!

I might have to look into it. I have a lot of stuff going on right now and will have to wait and see how things turn out first. Absolutely interested though! I will let you know if I decide to sign up and go.

I hear you. Busy time for everyone but you gotta make time for travel

Some of the people going (so far) are some of the biggest car guys i know. Porsche guys/AMG guy/Scud owner/etc. I am sure at the end of the trip, the best part will be the new friends that were made. Def let me know - would be so cool to have soe TeamSpeeders come along (coughDJcough)

Does this trip include driving the Nürburgring?

Jaykla, the price on the website does not include driving the ring. And the rental cars we get are not allowed on the ring (wonder why LOL!) -- however, a buddy of mine has sent me all the info on a day trip to the ring (about 2 hours away) where you can get a ride in a ring taxi, ride along in other cars, or even rent a car there (not sure what kind?) to drive the ring. I am contemplating doing that one day depending on what the others want to do. Hope this answers your question.

A ride in the Ring Taxi is about 200€, but you are better off if you just ask somebody in the parking spot if they can take you for a ride. Offer them to pay for the track fee. Most of them are happy to take a fellow enthusiast for a ride.

The rental cars for the ring suck. You can choose between a Suzuki Swift Sport and an Opel Corsa OPC.

Best spot for spotting is the "Brünnchen".

Thanks for the info. I have always wanted to do a European driving vacation. A trip to the Ring would be awesome. I have passed the info on to a friend of mine and am trying to convince him to come.
