Southern Europe in November (Honeymoon)
Planning our honeymoon and thinking of southern Spain/Italy. Anyone know what the weather is like in November? We are thinking maybe doing Valencia, Barcelona, and Rome. This is just the beginning of my research so let me know if completely stupid to go in November or if its too much to do in a two week trip.
Thanks!
Thanks!

No input on Europe, as we did Samui, HK, Shanghai, Singapore, Bangkok, and Hua Hin in three weeks.
I personally think you should try for three weeks, two weeks is too short.

I've spent a semester abroad in Valencia/Spain, so I'd say I know quite a lot about that city. Beautiful city and amazing people. Just don't make the mistake trying to ask something in English. I could send you some basics that'll make your trip a lot easier as well. If you'd need anything, just shoot me a PM. Here are some images I took with my Point and Shoot. Not the best quality, but they should give you a little impression:

I'd skip Barcelona and head for Madrid. A very good friend of mine just spent her semester abroad over there and added an internship as well. She should be able to give you a detailed description of where to go and what to do. Are you on ASW? They have some amazing city guides. Again, just shoot me a PM and I can give you a detailled description of what to do and where to go as far as Valencia goes and could ask my friend to do the same for Madrid for you. I might have someone in Rome as well.

Thanks Stuka. We are planning to do a Thailand trip for our one year anniversary along with a second ceremony for most of my family that can't make it out for the wedding this year.

The great thing about destination wedding is that we were able to invite everyone that we were "supposed to" invite, knowing that almost none of those people will show up because they will have to fly to Bangkok (and none did, heh).
The reception dinner was ridiculously cheap too, for full on 25 table Chinese traditional dinner at the JW Marriott there complete with Shark fin, roast duck, etc. Oh, and you can buy and bring your own booze, so we got them from Carrefour and had them delivered. I think I LOL'ed when I got the wedding reception dinner bill, it was 4K USD or something cheap like that, and the food was awesome. I ended up eating many bowls of shark fin soup since not everyone at the table wanted it, we are talking chunks of it, not slivers of it.
If I had to do it again, I would still have the big ceremony and reception in Bangkok, no question.
