I saw my first 458 Spider in April. I was on the train from Nice to Monaco, and we just came out of a tunnel in Cap D'Ail. I saw it come out of the tunnel on the road parallel to the train, going the same speed as us, top down, the sun glistening off the bodywork, model-like lady in the passenger seat. It was like something you'd see in a Ferrari promo video! I didn't get any photos of it though, but the one below is the first Spider I saw 'properly'. I think it's Ferrari Monaco's demonstrator.

A shame you didn't get any photos

I don't know if it is their demonstrator, but I can find it out if you like ?

My cars - Monaco / French Riviera
Past to present, part 12.
The story:
This was back in the days when a Lamborghini was REALLY rare. I can not explain to you how much attention it drew...but take a look in the pic and you get an idea.
But this car was a beast. 270 KM/H felt like 370 KM/H, I am not afraid of anything but this car was quite scary.
Pic taken in........Monaco.
