He he that was the whole point, it was supposed to be "undercover".
MB did it especially for MB.......
It was top of the line. The boys at the factory were quite excited. They are all small boys when it comes to gadgets, just like the rest of us.

I saw my first 458 Spider in April. I was on the train from Nice to Monaco, and we just came out of a tunnel in Cap D'Ail. I saw it come out of the tunnel on the road parallel to the train, going the same speed as us, top down, the sun glistening off the bodywork, model-like lady in the passenger seat. It was like something you'd see in a Ferrari promo video! I didn't get any photos of it though, but the one below is the first Spider I saw 'properly'. I think it's Ferrari Monaco's demonstrator.

AMG built some S70/S73. Here is pictures of one S70 imported from Japan to Finland.
ESV Oy - Exotic Street Vehicles
Here is an AMG SL70 also imported from Japan to Finland by the same company.

His was asking about if MB did the police light specially for MB (us
), not about the car itself. The 7.3 L engine was first seen in the SL 73 ///AMG. And it was a ROCKET. So was this limo. My S 73 ///AMG was a "one off". It was made specially for me in Bianco White, as the original Mercedes white tends to be a little "yellow". Custom made interior in black and light grey. And not to forget, piano black wood matching the interior.
The SL 73 ///AMG and the S 73 /// AMG "one offs" were sold until 2001.
Mine is not the only one though, but please don't compare it to this "ashtray silver junior version"

My cars - Monaco / French Riviera
Past to present, part 10.
The story:
Nice DD/ escort car. It felt small compared to the S 73. Don't get me wrong it was a nice car, but I never liked this generation S-Class too much. It was kind of too "discrete." It had 18" wheels and black windows.

S - Class
