Pay the extra coin and fly Lufthansa if you're going to Germany. Virgin's my favorite international airline right now, followed by BA, but I figure Lufthansa would be cheapest (aside from maybe AI).

Horrible. Honestly I'm surprised they still exist because the service is atrocious, the seats are half broken, and 99% of flights are delayed.

Yes, 24hrs is a bit long, is about 18-20 depending on which flights I take... usually SFO >> Frankfurt >> India
I think from NYC you now have direct via JetAir!
BTW, I flew the new JetAir 1st from Delhi to Singapore, and it ROCKS!!!

Curious, how new? I flew Lufthansa Business roughly a year ago and was a bit dissapointed. Only noteworthy thing I recall were the entertainment/tv options. I'm sure a lot could have changed in a year and I'd trust your frequent flyer card over mine
