NYC Trip: Feb. 2008 >PICS<
Ok, so some of you know (thread in other section) that i went to NYC this weekend to visit my best friends older bro and hang out for a few days. Well im back and i had a BLAST! What a great trip. Hanging out with good people, fantastic food, great partying, saw some cool places in NY that i had never seen, and overall just kicked back (Sorta haha) and went with the flow.
So here we go...arrive Saturday to my buddies place...Grammercy Park area....sick area, sick little one bedroom. Had the place to ourselves since his wife was in Milan on business.
Nice little view...
Me trying to be artistic (fail)
Then off to dinner at Resto http://www.restonyc.com/ for dinner.....had the front table in the window...reser for 8...unreal beer menu and fantastic food. Everyone loved their app and main course. Couldnt have been better!
Then off to MSG for the Villanova game...my first time there...and Nova won too! Time to celebrate!
What else would a bunch of dudes from NYC and Philly celebrate with? "F*ckin Jaegabombs!" hahaha
Then too Joshua Tree for the AFTER AFTER party...PM me for those pics hahahahaha

Then out to dinner, Vezzo (i think?) for a GREAT gourmet (i use that term loosly Chuck) thin crust pizza meal + way tp much Chianti. Then to a place called CV6. Amazing beer list...actually had Victory Golden Monkey that is from my hometown (Downingtown, PA) so i was stoked. Then off to som spot (cant remember the name) where we got a private room but i cant really remember if it was cool or not (See pics below hahaa)
So that was that....went home Monday after brunch at some place called Blockhead? An average mexican place with MASSIVE burritos and great margaritias (exactly what i DIDNT need after my weekend).
Sorry i didnt meet up with any you local peeps but hopefully next time we can set something up. I certainly enjoyed your city and look forward to coming back soon.
Cheers,
Jon

I have forgotten many memories from nights at Joshua Tree. El Rio Grande (opposite side of 3rd ave @ 37th) is a great margarita spot, well until they stopped serving drinks on the balcony.
