Manhattan Restaurants Suggestions
TS!
I really good friend of mine is surprising his wife with a getaway to NY/Manhattan for her birthday. It's a really special time for them and he wants to really do it up. He's looking for some Really nice places to go (monday/tuesday/wednesday) and help with reservations if they are hard to come by.
Any suggestions/hook ups?
Thanks Guys!

if you want to do it up, i'd choose:
- Le Bernardin (jacket mandatory), supposedly getting much better
- Jean Georges (for lunch, jacket not a bad idea), very nice dining room, lunch is a steal; where dinner might cost $500/2, the exact same food, with Jean Georges in the kitchen, would cost maybe $100/2.
- Masa, for the best sushi you'll find in america, you'll also pay for the privilege, $500/person
