Is Led Zeppelin actually going on tour?

Hey Scott,

I'm sure you've heard the rumors. Would you be one of the first to know if it was true?

Sounds like they are but haven't seen anything like dates yet. On a ticket broker message board I run there is talk of it as recently as last week.

A few quotes from things people have found...

"Should there be a reunion tour, it's not likely to happen before September, Page said, as Plant has already committed to a tour with his latest duet partner, Alison Krauss.

"Robert Plant also had a parallel project running, and he's really busy with that project, certainly until September, so I can't give you any news," Page said.

Of the band members, Plant has expressed the most resistance to the idea of a reunion tour, stating in one interview that the "whole idea of being on a cavalcade of merciless repetition is not what it's all about."

In recent weeks, however, he has softened his position, admitting that it perhaps "wouldn't be such a bad idea to play together from time to time."

Last week, when asked once again about the possibility of a tour, he gave his most cryptic reply yet, answering, "You never know what's round the corner."
Guitarist Page has previously stated: "It's a bit selfish to do just one show. If that's it, we probably shouldn't have taken the genie out of the bottle."

Yeah I read what Page has been saying and how he's changed what he's said between the concert and now. If it happens, it'll only happen after Plant's tour, but I really hope it does.
