Yeah, I'm a big Green Day fan but their last two albums did absolutely nothing for me. I miss the days of Insomniac and Dookie.

Hmm....
They say, if ya don't have anything nice to say, don't say it...

I never seemed to be able to do that...

What is it that you like about these guys?

Like that's ever stopped either one of us...

I can't tolerate GD. They can't play well enough to be metal, but they're too packaged to be punk.

Put GD on stage next to The Sex Pistols, then tell me who's punk.

They lost any link to punk when they appeared on "Friday Night with Jonathan Ross" on the BBC. Think the British version of the Tonight Show...

Can you imagine the Sex Pistols, Dead Kennedys or TSOL doing that? I think not. I personally like the Offspring more than GD.

I didn't realize there have been any punk bands, rock bands (no, Nickelback, sit your asses back down), or punk-rock bands in the past decade. All I hear these days is bad hip-hop, pop divas with marital problems, unattractive wimmins winning country music awards that rightfully belong to hot wimmins, and mainstream guitar/bass/drums that still has the audacity to call itself Alternative/Indie.

Did I miss anyone?

+1

Then add teenage angst when your not one, and a major reliance on autotune on the last two albums.

I will admit that dookie was decent when it came out.
