Torrents only. iTunes never has any of the music I am looking for.

 

I haven't found a single 3 hour+ trance mix on there

 

iTunes... I personally don't like stealing music.

 

I don't want that low chance of having RIAA send me a bill for $20,000 for downloading 200 songs...

 

it's not even like that for me... I just think it's wrong and counterproductive. If you like someone's music, you should pay for it and support them. enough said.

 

I search google to find open directories with the music I want.

For example if you want to find Bob Marley - Bad Card (the youtube KK posted in another thread) in google put this in the search bar.

-inurl:htm -inurl:html intitle:"index of" "bad card" mp3

Then you kind of have to look for decent site and the 4th one down http://morelias.org/shared/musica/bob/ had it and lots of other stuff.

You can search for song names or band names by changing out the 'bad card' to whatever you want. This way of looking for music can be hit or miss. Sometimes you can go up to the parent directory and find much more.
