Where do you get your music?

I used to spend a lot of time on P2P networks downloading garbage... though there are better methods now.

For most good albums (plastic city records, renaissance records, okayplayer, etc) I end up buying the album. I download a ton of mixes (Essential Mix BBC Radio 1, etc) from torrents as well as music I'll only list to once (things I determine as crap).

I also frequent electro/hipster music blogs that post a ton of mixes of just about everything you can imagine.

discobelle.net
palmsout.blogspot.com
missingtoof.com

are all good places to start with that movement. You gotta file through some garbage before finding good music though...

this is the hottest shit with electro right now.... give it a listen...the buildup is like 2 minutes long but weeellll worth it. Turn it up and enjoy for a few mins.

I really need to learn about torrents. I mainly just do iTunes these days.

Pretty much just iTunes. I did not feel like trying to figure out torrents. I work with computers everyday, and the last thing that I want to do when I get home is work on one.

Torrents are less complicated than iTunes. Less clicks.

www.isohunt.com

www.utorrent.com

get the utorrent software...go to isohunt, search, click, own (kinda)

mind you I am not endorsing any sort of illegal activities and torrents should be used as a backup utility only

well...quality in iTunes is subpar...I encode cleaner music when I rip my CDs. their selection is impressive if you fall into any one of the niches they service.

15-20 a months...haha... 10ish a day is nice and slow (my roomie is a pro dj so i get it passed down)

ITunes for me...it's just the easiest way...not really a stickler for the quality thing...

Itunes. Fast, easy, and a really good selection

I use iTunes for the most part, but’ll use torrents for b-sides or albums I can’t find.
