My guess is electric. I'm pretty sure the blue discs behind the wheels are the electric motors. Also, there is no radiator in the from grille. Another hint is the "EV" in the name, which usually stands for "Electric Vehicle".

You are correct, each motor (wich is indeed the blue thing behind the wheels) develops 140 kW so that adds up to some 740 BHP. 60 MPH should be cracked in 4 seconds and topspeed is somewhere in the 130+ MPH range. The car can be charged up for a range of 50 miles in ten minutes.

They use a relatively new battery designed by US company Altairnano Inc called NanoSafe. These batteries are more user friendly because they are more thermally safe than conventional batteries wich use graphite, last way longer (12+ years vs 3-5 years) and retain some 85% of their capacity even after 15,000 charges.

Looks like a TVR... Pretty awesome, although the way the roof extends past the rear window and over the trunk probably causes some blind spots.
