The back doors should be fine to open, even if parked next to another car, they aren't going to open any wider. The biggest concern would be overhead clearance.

Actually, it is. While on paper you can make instatorque to just about any number a given motor is rated for, in practice that's a very good way to incinerate a speed controller. As is traction, broken differentials, etc.

The performance and range numbers are claimed. As with the original car, I would expect a significant amount of reality based revision.

Are you talking about Tesla or GM, Ford and Chrysler(FIAT)?

I like it. Just wonder how expensive it will be and also have concerns about the long term outlook of the company.

If by learn from you mean make generally useless cars nobody wants using government handouts, they sure are, with the exception of Ford.

It certain looks innovative which is good. It is sad that they have to revert to the SUV market.

I still cant get how the members on this forum like this car, an electic SUV with gulling doors... To me this would seem like product of the imagination of an Eco-mentalist child that just saw transformers... So basically... Me.

(minus the Eco-part, i couldn't give a damn about saving "our earth's precious resources".)

I sure hope so because otherwise it would be pretty idiotic.
