Model S, engineered from the ground up as an EV, is meticulously designed for superior aerodynamics, stability and handling, crash safety, performance and range. Before Model S enters production it will have been thoroughly tested using both computer simulations and test vehicles. Tesla will complete two vehicle testing phases, Alpha and Beta. The Alpha phase began in 2010. Here is one Alpha driving in California.

looks nice...but at front remind me the VW scirroco and ford mondeo from back...lol

 

I see a lot of Focus in the front:



and a lot of Jaguar XF in the rear:



That being said, I think it actually looks pretty good. I'm curious if Tesla is still claiming that this will be a 7 passenger vehicle. It certainly doesn't look like it.

 

at a quick glance the rear looks like a Porsche panamera

 

for the proposed price and MPG that car is going to be a hit.

 

not a bad car, Tesla is getting it right.
