HOLY SCHNIKES! I'm just now seeing this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WOW!!
Dude, this is outstanding! I know one place I'm rolling through when we make it out to Cali!

Man, major props to you for doing this!

Best of luck, but I'm betting you won't need it!

The range I go to opened only last August, and they had to stop selling memberships it has gone over so well.

IF you need an "in" with Meggitt (AKA FATS) for your range equipment, let me know. I've got excellent ties there.

I'm just damn impressed.

I'm really bad about checking this sub-forum, but huge congrats on getting your shop going! If I happen to get any request from my bay area friends I'll be sure to send them your way.

Congrats. Being in the same business I can tell you that it will be a BIG learning experience. Its a fun business to be in here in TX. I would imagine CA will be good as well. Kinda interesting that you guys filed for the FFL AFTER you secured the facility. Most folks go the other way around as the FFL can take up to 6 months to get. Hopefully yours will happen faster. Feel free to PM if you have any questions......

No, we havent filed yet, still fighting the lease and such. I agree on the FFL lead, last time we had it, it was a 4 month, and local guy just told me it took him 5 and he had to fight the ATF...

Definitely prepare for an uphill battle with the ATF. I had a buddy open a shop here locally in TX and it took 6 mos. I can imagine in commiefornia there has to be more resistance.

So we finally nailed down the lease and are starting the ATF paperwork. Believe it or not, the DOJ here in Commiefornia was down right helpful. Even offered to come down (send someone) to our shop to do a full training session and look over the place one last time before we open. He was quite friendly, I was shocked.

My screen printer has just sent me this proof of our first t-shirt, with our logo. What do you think?

I wanted simple.
