Unhappy 8 mm ammo source?

First post in the shooting forum.

I have a 1942 Mauser. It shoots the depricated 8mm round. I have fired it, but have not been able to find replacement ammo. I've used Eastern Euro stuff from the 50s I've bought in stores and online.
Huge pain to gear up, go to the range and have bad primers.

Any 100% reliable source?

They have 8mm Mauser ammo on the ad in the latest shotgun news.... Never used them so no idea how they are.

Aim surplus has the romanian stuff, among others. If you want anything decent, you're going to be loading it yourself.

Here's from there site unfortunately.."Manufactured in Iran in 1950's ". Looks like reloads is the answer. Someone must make this round. Such A great round. Father in law reloads his
M1 carbine maybe I can hit him up, get him to do 8mm.

I'm a bit concerned to why you brought your gun with you to a Motel 6. If I didn't know any better I'd swear you came with duct tape, rope, and a girl in your trunk.
