Yeah, we bought a condo with low carrying cost and not a house so we can pick up and leave and not be tied down if the plan works out.

That's a shitty plan... Move somewhere hot as hell and twice as humid in the summer, then freezes over in winter? Plus Austin's full of hippies, dude. It's not all guns and belt buckles, my friend...

Turn it into Sig 556 SBR

Or pay another $200 tax stamp and turn it into an SBR with a suppressor.

Too bad Open Carry is illegal in Texas, would be fun to walk around Austin with this and watch the reaction of those liberal CA transplants.
Hey easy on the Cali Liberal Transplants. SoCal hasn't made a final decision on if he's moving or not.

Im sure he'll take offense to that liberal comment

Secure can confirm, but I am pretty sure it's just a matter of paying the $200 for each item.

That third picture is from a guy who did the conversion and paid two stamps for the can and the stock.

I have the full size Sig 556 and I like it fine. This is simply the same chassis with an 8" barrel, so ergonimic wise it's fine for me.

So you're saying you can handle 8"?

Um, I dunno, never shot the 8" barrel version, but my 16" Sig 556 was nice. I know people complain that it's front heavy, but it was fine for me.
