Had to have it

Picked up a DeHaan 16g side x side today. Just wanted another 'lil skeet shooter, ended up with one of the most beautiful SxS's I've ever seen. The company is based in Rigby Idaho, where they have a manufacturing facility, and one in Turkey. These shotguns are custom built to your specs; once your order is processed, they say it takes 8-12 months to get your order. (hand carved engraving, not a machine )

I really doubt I could have waited eight months for this; I have honestly never felt a more solid shotgun. I found it in Cabela's Gun Library, where they explained to me that the previous owner was handicap and wanted something to shoot trap with, but he found it too heavy, so he sold it to them. Who knows what the story is for sure, but there sure is a happy ending

It's dark now, will snap some photo's tomorrow after the sun comes up; couldn't wait to share though

Absolutely beautiful double barrel. The intricate metalwork looks phenomenal. Congrats on the pickup and make sure you take good care of that one!

You're killing me with that single pic! That thing looks freakin' awesome, and I love the 16g.
My first shotgun was a 16g side by side. I can't even remember who made it... Remington I think. It was OLD and not pretty... just my grandpa's old gun.

That gun of yours looks amazing.

Thanks really for all the nice comments... you Fockers have a good week!

(I mean the Focker family, don't be offended, I heard Ben Stiller was a fan of TS; if he's not, he fockin should be)
