That is a fantastic idea. I never thought of Costco! Smooth concrete walls, metal roll down doors, fully stocked! Its fantastic!

I talked to a friend this morning who had also never shot a gun. My wife hadn't before coming to the US and going out with me. (Except for one mounted machine gun with blanks, her dad was a colonel) She likes occasionally shooting and when I told her about the CA stuff above her first response was, "Oh well, sell it and get a shotgun."

I've been shooting since I was a kid, my parents always had a gun safe in the house, cop friends, etc... For me the whole debate about guns in the US is like debating banning cars or kitchen knives. Its just surreal. I don't have any perspective on not having guns around except 2nd hand from my former euro wife.

Is there a list of "illegal" handguns in CA as well? I wonder if my USP 9 is allowed. Retards, the lot of 'em. Oh well, I've always wanted a large frame revolver. That could be a good replacement and is unlikely to be banned.

I wouldn't be surprised if large frame revolvers are somehow banned. I know my Casull is scarier to my non gun associates than my 8.5" barrel AR...
