I shot 8 guns today

I had myself quite a bit of fun, about 5 other buddies and I went to the range today to finally celebrate my birthday (a month late).

guns I shot

remington 870
ar 15

sig 228 (22_something i think the 228?)
steyr (with the wierd sights)
glock17
llama 1911 (my familys first handgun)
22cal 6" revolver
khar (polymer in 9mm)

The AR15 is just fun! Pretty damn accurate at the indoor range....wish I could stretch its legs and take one out to an outdoor range and really see what I could do in prone. I wound up shooting standing up with the sling and put all 10 rnds in the dome at 20 yards (few moments between shots)

I tried a 3" double O shell in the 870 for the first time....pretty hefty kick I tell ya. At 20 yards the spread was pretty wide but i suppose thats the point. After that I screwed around and did a mosembique using slugs at 7 yards....mr paper had a baaaad day :-p

My frieds G17 was the best glock I ever shot, he had some work done to it.

The khar was brand new. It was one of the newer ones with the polymer lower. I didnt shoot so great with it, its the smallest gun Ive ever shot and the trigger was looong but I did fair with it I guess.

Sig = teh pwnage. I really dont need to do a review everyone knows how awesome these guns shoot.

Steyr! What a wierd gun, I somehow did a good group with it with my first mag. The trigger felt "springy" and the sights got a lot of shit talking from my friends but I actually like them. The front sight is a triangle with the point at the top to you just put the pointy edge at where you want the lead to go and it does it.

Nobody can shoot my llama 1911...that thing needs some trigger work :-\

.22 cal revolver, I dont know or care what it was I didnt shoot it well and I think its a waste of space. On the other hand, last time I shot a revolver it was a ruger gp100 and I absolutely loved it. The bullets went exactly where I wanted them to go..it was steller!

I look forward to the next outing, hope you read this chokey

since the inception of TS.com, my curiosity of shooting ranges has been growing and growing. I really need to see what all the fuss is about.

The site of the .470 Nitro Express it's unbelievable ... those kind of rifles being shot at 1m of me .. it's so ****ing scary.
