Being new to the 1911, I enjoyed the full description of the parts and the commentary given in the link I posted and thought I would share it.

You can never watch something like this often enough if your a 1911 guy. A friend of mine who loves his 1911's like I do, brain farted one day and couldn't remember how to put it back together! And this is a guy thats worked with 1911's for years!

Is it just me or is that guide rod or whatever its called really long? Mine isnt quite that long, Im sure it helps accuracy which mine lacks for being a 1911

^ I saw that one too. A 'pro' somewhere posted that the assembly was missing a key step. I'll try to find it and post it here.
