Knight's Armament Co SR-25 Battle Rifle

It's very much a stoner designed AR10. The FA seems like a dinosaur option that really isn't needed anymore - I guess old ideas are hard to kill.
I was really impressed on how tame the SR25 was with the KAC triple tap - it really makes a difference.

Not to mention that in that particular shooting position, those PIC rails are going to heat up a lot. Once they do, your little digits are going to burn. If the reason for that is to press the switch for the light (or laser), relocate it to the broomstick, or to the left railguard. I am with Chris on not trusting KZ weapons as well. Just my $0.02...

I will admit that if you aren't careful and grab a bit too forward that you might end up grabbing the barrel. Now that becomes hotter than a witches tit in brass bra in the middle of the sandbox overseas...that left a mark.

Damn Gyrines, grabbing hot barrels. But I guess you have nothing better to do riding around on the Navy's ferries...
Sorry... could resist.
I'm just not feeling that stance... KA makes a good weapon, but not $5500 good.

CC - Piston guns heat up PLENTY up front. I've fired thousands of rounds out of 416s and without a nomex glove or vertical grip, you are absolutely NOT holding the quad rail. It's hotter than even an AK after full-auto.
Too each his own, but I've honed my marksmanship techniques after years of experience and lots of borrowing from very knowledgeable folks. The people I'm talking about have been LAPD SWAT legends, FBI SRT veterans, and USMIL guys from the very best of the best. I'll never be on their level, but I try to learn as much as I can.
Bottom line - shoot the way you want as long as you hit your target each and every time.

^I just didn't want to argue about it. I too have fired many, many rounds out of PIC equipped weapons, and they ALL heated up to the point of burning. Oh well, to each their own. And you would need arms that hung down to your knees to have the weapon in your shoulder and be able to reach out and grab the barrel... Just my $0.02.
And I agree that you need to shoot whatever way you have to as long as you get effective rounds on target.
