^You can even tell that it is in park, and the dome light is on because one of the doors is most likely open.

It just seems a little weird the guy that got shot had a gun in his hands and got shot once and ended up being able to flee. You would think if he wanted to hurt someone he woulda returned fire even after being hit.

I think it is a simple case of "fight or flight." He had already been shot, his survival instinct kicked in, and he fled. Whatever his intentions, they were overtaken by his will to survive. Too bad that will met up with a .357 to the chest... Get 'em Grandma!

In Ohio we have Castle Doctrine, and it applies to the hotel room you are staying in. So the 70 year old lady should be 100% protected from legal prosecution, especially considering the details of this one. Of course nothing in law is that straight forward, so it will be interesting to see if there are any snags when it goes to the courts.

"Columbus police say they don’t expect to file charges against the woman who shot Winston but the case will be presented to a grand jury, the Dispatch reported. County Prosecutor Ron O’Brien said it is a long-standing policy to present any case of a death caused by a weapon to a grand jury, even if prosecutors are not seeking an indictment." silly to waste time on this
