I was never much of a gun guy, but now with all the hype, I've got the itch to exercise my 2nd Amendment. Well, now I know what to put my first real paycheck towards....

An article I ran across while looking for this clip said the Director actually hired real smugglers as advisors for the film. He then bought black market AK-47s for the film because it was MUCH cheaper than renting prop guns. Something in the article too about "renting" a couple of tanks that were on their way to a customer.

I thoroughly agree. This is why I think they'd never try it. It could result in outright civil war, blood in the streets and all.

Just found some 7.62 at Farm and Fleet, no .45 though.

 

Exactly why the 2nd amendment is so important. The founders didn't put it in there to protect your right to hunt or even to protect yourself from the bad guys. It is there to keep potential tyrants and oppressive governments in check. You've got to wonder why a government would fear an armed citizenry. The "reduce gun violence" excuse they use to push gun control is BS. Criminals don't obtain their guns legally as it is. An unarmed citizen becomes a subject and if you don't think it possible that a totalitarian leader could rise to ultimate power in the United States then you need to study some history.

 

No need to look back in history to find an administration deserving of a violent ousting, the last 8 years will do for me.
