In Ohio you need a tax stamp for a SBR which is 11" or shorter I believe. You have to do fingerprints, and have the head LEO in your region sign off on it, ect ect. Now if it was a regular 556 or an ar15 with a 16" barrel then its the standard instant background check and done.
