So with the posibbility of the federal AWB being reinstated, I am lobbying the mrs hard for a firearm investment shopping spree, as well as a class 3 college fund for the kiddie. That way we'll have a bunch of cool stuff and be grandfathered if the federal AWB ever come to pass.

Here's my thinking. Get a class III firearm, then when the kiddie turns 18 to go to college, sell it and pay for college. Anyone remember how inexpensive an MP5 used to be in 1995? So I figure with the rate of appreciation, he will be all set.

stuka, i don't think the SABR is even being produced until mid next year...that is definitely on my list of purchases but talking to the guys at LWRC, they told me to take a number and get in line.

However... there may be good news afoot... LWRC has upgraded their manufacturing capabilities, so you just may see an influx of them on the market. Considering what seems to be about to happen, that ain't a bad thing!

 

The mrs is totally livid right now, I think I can maybe even expand my budget.
