Well, I'm going to have to go against what seems to be the popular opinion here. Flat black on a track-oriented Ferrari or Porsche, fine. Not so much on a GT-oriented $1-million-plus Bugatti. Just something about flat paint = cheap to me. Not sure why. Like a rushed, paint-just-to-cover-the-bodywork idea. There's something to be said for staring into a 12- or 15-layer paint job and seeing the depth to it.
