My Pagani Huayra: from Build to Delivery
#21
Thanks for creating this thread, really one of the best threads since Mike S stopped posting his threads full of stunning supercar experience pics!
Congrats once again and I really can't wait to see the final result of so lengthy process and please post more pics of the process!
Also my sincere greetings to Brett, really miss the days he was around here, have seen few interviews with him lately, glad that he never stops in expanding his business!
I'll quote your answer from another thread not to double-post and will say thanks for clarifying, I was following the lengthy process of Pagani trying hard to get US certification and was really happy when the first US spec cars arrived.
Entering US market is a really important step of recognition and success because of sheer size and overall importance of the market and I'm really glad Pagani finally made it there!

It is still in production but should be complete soon!
Awesome and congrats!
I follow you on Instagram and didn't realize you had an account here.
You post some great pics but god damn it bothers me that you write out the entire car name and color on every single post lol.
'The Lamborghini Aventador 50th aniversareo LP720-4 in verde singh' lol.

^yeah i read that aswell, but then i saw the picture and it does not have the US side mirrors and it also lacks the US corner reflexes.
PS
I would love it if you wrote more about the ordering process and which people you dealt with at the factory.
I know Mr Pagani, Davide Testi, Luca Venturi and Alberto Giovanelli very well from my visits and contacts with the company since the early 00s.
Im very sure they treated you amazingly, but it would be a thrill for the others to read and experience the difference in ordering a pagani vs lets say a run of the mill supercar.
PPS
Since you said that your car will be the 4th, and i read that the one i posted above is going to the US, i thought it might be yous, as it seems to be further along the process of building, or more or less complete.
Once again congrats

Congratulations for your future Huayra...850HP, 100 kg less, new aero and just a few will be built.

That brown car can't be going to the US simply because its not a US spec car. All US/Canada Huayras will have orange/red side markers, and there're two US spec cars being built along with Kris's car - CF/purple and matte kermit green. Not sure if they'll be delivered before or after Kris's car and if their destination is the US or Canada.

Ciao my friend!
How are you? I was at the factory around a month ago and I spoke a lot with Davide about your passion for the brand. I'm really happy to see that something is finally arriving. I guess a lot of carbon fiber and red to match the calipers. Can't wait to see the final result.
Are you coming to the Vanishing Point this year?

But as the dude said, he also thinks its a US bound car, and i think i read somewhere ( not sure if it was the photographer of that shot) that it was US bound.
But like you i can clearly see that it is NOT US spec.
So conflicting matters, lets see where it ends up in the end.

Hey Kris, always great to see a collector who is an enthusiast first. Some people seem to collect as though it's an investment first and then a hobby, but from what I've seen, you geek out over these cars as hard as anyone and your genuine excitement for these cars is much appreciated.
Can't wait to see the finished Huayra!
(Great name by the way!)

Thank You! I drive all of my cars. I am very impressed by how easy the Huayra is to get around- great visibility, soft suspension, comfortable seats, and great steering feel. Being a useable car was definitely one of the key goals from day one with the Huayra. Its a pleasure to drive on real roads.
Yeah, may be car will undergo re-spec and will go to the US.
