I searched the thread and couldn't find any mention of it so here goes.

Are their any plans for the factory to send an Agera R to Ehra-Lessien for a top speed test? Surely it'd take the crown back for the first time since the CCR?

Glad to have some factory representation on an open forum for enthusiasts, makes you warm to the brand much more when they reach out to the fans.

Volkswagen owns Ehra-Lessien and Bugatti as well, so they will not allow Koenigsegg to test there. Its sad because there really are very very few other places where you can take a car like the Agera R up to top speed.

Almost two years ago Bugatti claimed there was 15 people, who had joined the "400+ Drive Club. Wonder where did they do that, where did they exceeded 400 km/h...

Great to see representation from Koenigsegg participating amongst the enthusiasts here. Quite pleased with that news.

My first encounter with a Koenigsegg was the CCR which was a star in the unfortunately awful "Redline" movie. The producers displayed the cars from the movie, including the Carrera GT they had destroyed, at the Los Angeles Auto Show in 2007. This was prior to Eddie Griffin trying to kill the Enzo, so it was there too.

Here's the CCR - I have to say that for a small volume manufacturer I was quite impressed with how complete it was and the quality of the construction from what I could see.

I also want to mention that I've really enjoyed the DRIVE video series on YouTube.

Keep up the great work!!

I have loved Koenigsegg for a long time. I would like to see some tests of it. I'm getting tired of all these reviewers who haven't driven one thinking the Huayra is the best thing since sliced bread! Let the Agera show them what a real car is! One that goes fast(er), is fun and actually looks good!
