What'd you guys things of the latest episode? It is my favorite, so far. Mostly because it shows the extent of what Koenigsegg engineering is able to do in house. I'm just on my way back to the US from a week in Sweden. Lots of great things to come this year,

new technologies for the engine? What about the electric future of Koenigsegg? Can we expect something for Geneva? I spot probably some very special orders from the states??
And Junus, a very particular question. How is the situation in Brasil? Because Platinuss went bust and i dont see anymore the dealer name on your dealers page. That means you dont have a representation for south america anymore?
Thank you for your time
Kind regards

As one off the biggest Koenigsegg aficcionados in this forum, i dont think these series were a good ideia. If they were just in one episode of lets say, 45/60m, i think it would be genious. A very indepth look at the company, etc. Putting out everything that was not shown still. But even so, we did not got to the point were i would like to get, with decend sized episodes! I would love to see what is coming, the future, what Koeningsegg is reserching in the lab!! Most of us, Christian worshipers, already knows the maniac level of engeniering deepness that Christian demands on his creations. Thats not new to us. We would love to have some clues on whats comig

Regarding the future technologies, we have to keep them behind doors until they're ready to be released. I'm sure you can understand why. We do have something special for Geneva. We are sending out a teaser soon,
.I'm not sure what you mean by the Platinuss went bust, can you clarify? At the moment South American inquiries are being handled directly.

Great news! I hope we get to see something like the Venom GT weight to power ratio in Geneva
As far has I'm aware, platinuss is no longer in the business. They were your representatives in Brasil, among many other top brands. The problem was that they had no brand to sell in a "massive way". They only had niche brands. So they did not survived to having so much money tied up. If you put that togheter with the very high import taxes for Mercosul..... You get the idea.
I will pay you a visit at Geneva booth. Maybe we can discuss some issues personnaly.

I thought the episode really showed how ridiculously in depth Koenigsegg goes in its engineering. Routing that entire chip manually is incredible! Really shows "perfection isn't good enough" with the Agera.
I'm a bit in the same boat with exRockstar, in that I already knew 95% of the things shown in the Drive videos, but I cannot wait to see what Koenigsegg brings to Geneva and in the future. I won't be there, but I will sure be keeping a lookout for all the latest info. I understand that you guys cannot release classified info, but little teasers for us to guess over here and there would be awesome! By the way, when does this teaser you mentioned come out?

To Will and Rockstar I thing you are both missing the point of these videos. I do not think they are directly meant for the super fans like you. As you both said most of the information you already know.
What Koenigsegg I think are trying to do is get their message out to a larger audience. I personally have been very critical of Koenigsegg past performance when it comes to PR. If no one knows about your product it does not matter how good it is, people wont buy it. This is a battle they were truly losing to Pagani who kept a constant drip feed of information, articles and video's in the media that has helped no doubt cement their current status in the industry.
Koenigsegg previously seemed to be content just to produce their cars and hope that a few knowledgeable rich individuals would take the time to check them out. As great as the latest Eggs are without the right PR they were always going to struggle so these Drive videos have been absolutely the right thing to do. It’s just a shame they were not made a couple of years ago.
I suspect most of us armchair experts are not in a position to buy one of these cars so as much as you may love them and know their details inside out unfortunately you are not going to add to Koenigseggs balance sheet.
So I again I applaud what they are doing now, love or hate Pagani you cant denigh they have made a much better job of the PR game up until now. Koenigsegg are playing catch-up and I wish them well
