The reduction in weight should improve the handling

I would not want to be the guy who has to do the initial test run to 288mph. Probably shitting his pants the whole run.

Iirc the test driver who drove the SS during the runs that set the current record was quoted as saying he felt quite unsafe at that speed and never wanted to take it up that high again.

Acclerating at that velocity would not be driving for me. I would be tensing and cringing my whole body as if I was on a crazy roller coaster, HOW the fvck could I focus on driving it.

Overall, I am probably one of the few weirdos that does not really care for this car. For that money I would have a stable of 25 cars averaging 200k each. If I had to have 1 car that expensive then the pagani seems much more fun.

I think the Agera R eclipsed everything as a whole that a hyper-car should deliver. Ive lost interest in Bugatti and their battle for the fastest. Its an annoyance like Ultimate Aero's.

I'm with ya. I have never seen one outside of a screen but they do not impress me. Sure they're fast but they look bland and ugly. For their price, I would be sending Ferrari's and Lambos to UGR and still getting those speed thrills for a fraction of the cost.

The twin turbo Ferrari's and Lambo's don't go 288 mph. A ton more than just adding raw power is required for a car travel at those speeds.

I'm most excited about the 500 lb weight reduction in the new car. I'm officially excited

Neither will those who buy this car. I don't see 288 as anything except suicide.

And as soon as people buy this one, Bugatti will announce that the next Bugatti will hit 300 mph have 500 more hp and go 0-60 in 1.5 seconds.
