1600hp Bugatti SuperVeyron planned for Frankfurt!

It isn't 16L, it is 8.

Oops forgot about the W16, just divided it by two lol. In that case adding 1.6L as The Artist said is pretty doable without increasing engine size, with only .1l per cyclinder it could possibly be bored and stroked out more.
And exRockstar, I still don't think the weight saving is possible, it would be incredible to keep most of the car intact and lose 500k without adding hybrid tech. Maybe they'll make the car out antimatter or something, VAG has just about resource possible.

Excuse my last post regarding math, I confused displacement with cylinders then cylinders with displacement. However what I did in my first post is correct.
@ exRockstar: 500lbs = about 245 kilos, which is still a ton of weight to shed, especially with added hybrid tech. The 1:1 power ratio has already been achieved with the Hennessey Venom GT at 1244hp @ 1244kg, it would be interesting to see which car would win in a pull from 100-200 if this SuperVeyron were built.
What I can't wait for is the the rumoured #100 K'segg that is supposed to be at Geneva. Koenigsegg is working on a cam-less engine, which should be pretty cool to see what they do with it, and it is apparently going to be revealed in the #100 car.

Perhaps a more realistic order would be that they first shaved off 500lbs from the supersport, then added the hybrid stuff, resulting in a combined 1600hp while still retaining the weight of a standard SS.

I'm just saying that they are gonna shave 500lbs from the SS and then from increasing the displacement or hibrydization achieve a higher output in power. 1600kgs and 1600ps. But anyway very valid arguments in this thread. I just hope they make a beast out of the Veyron. Will i know that Henessey already achieve the magic formula, but the Venom is a totally dif thing from the Veyron.

With that I have no doubt, I pretty certain that most of the internals have to upgraded or new, just I mentioned that I'd like to see a "diffrent" body design from Bugatti and refer that Ferrari and Pagani and Koenensigg decided to go with a radical change. Though Koenensigg was more a facelift when it comes to the exterior.
