On the topic of modifying veyrons. I don't understand why most wouldn't do the conversion to new headlights. Is it something that is able to be completed at the factory?
Apparently it costs 180k because everything has to be rewired and a bunch of other stuff. It's not a simple conversion. But the new headlights look way better than those old ones so it's a shame.

highly doubt the tuning of the veyron
The car accelerates to 100km in 2 seconds and hits a top speed of +400km/h, why tune it more? Just get a jet instead

Bugatti saw fit to create the SS. I think some of the most desirable exotics (if not all) were created out of passion and desire - not because it made any sense. Otherwise we'd all be driving mundane appliances.

Why not? If you have the means..

It takes 5 miles for the Veyron to reach 250+mph, some 'street' cars hitting that within a mile. The car has a lot of potential. I say push it to the limit, see what it can do.

On top of that, they have 24-7 insight in engine data and condition of tires and stuff via Satellite.

I think that would make tuning without Bugatti knowing and/or approving it impossible?

Edit: there is only one tuner: mansory that was allowed to tune the car in cooperation with bugatti. But they only added 100hp on top of the 1001.
Wrong.

This.

Bugatti wants any famous person who's got the $$ to be seen in a veyron. Anyone with the cash can get one I guarantee it. They can't sell the allotted grand sports. If you modify yours your warranty is gone but I'm sure that wouldn't be a issue.

Chris Brown leased the Veyron.
