This will be the car that makes or break SSC. As long as they keep everything to the highest standards then they should have no problems with getting the clients.

If Hennessy can sell a few vemon's, SSC should have no problems finding clients.

 

I just cant with this car. I'm also very surprised its as liked on TS as it is. Normally kit car looking space ships are universally hated. If someone posted a pic and said guess what it is unless we had prior knowledge we'd all guess Mansory. ****in awful.

 

it was rumored that they had 10 pre orders for the car only from the middle east, and thats some months ago, they should better start making it and showing some action! Also the interior is AWFUL IMO

 

Would have love to seen a different path chose but this rendering sure is cool...

Ugly ass car.As mentioned before i strongly doubt that this plastic car can do anywhere close to 275 mp/h and i also doubt that this car will sell more than 5-10 units...Sorry but who would buy such a car?
Its takes more that a 1000hp engine and a few carbon parts to make a car go 400 km/h +.I just think americans should concentrate on building affordable V8 cars and not on building supercars...At the end of the day you just wont beat Volkswagen and the proper european engineering.Sorry but thats how i see it.Im not hating or anything....

 

There are/were peeps very involved with SSC on here. Disliking it (justified or not) triggered some interesting reactions.

Well, I had heard that a contest was held, but now it sounds like what has been shown was just the contest winner. This means the interior will likely be very different than what has been shown, right? This is such a weird way to do things.

Ok it sounds like you don't know much about SSC in general. They claim to have already sold 10 units after the Dubai auto show. You say that it takes more than power and a slippery body to do 400. Sorry but no, that is really ALL it takes to go fast. To go 400 safely is a different matter. And of course, you should know that the ultimate aero already did 400+, this has more power and should have less drag.

It one thing to generalize major american car companies as behind the 'proper european engineering', but to judge us as inferior on a personal level is offensive. So basically, fvck you.
