Rotary Super Cars - An Impossible Feat?
#12
It uses an eight-rotor rotary engine with a 5.2-litre capacity and with four turbochargers produces....wait for it....2800hp.
0-100km/h is done in 0.9 seconds. 0-300km/h takes just 3.6 seconds. And here's the kicker: the company lists 0-600km/h acceleration - 7.0 seconds.

Those acceleration numbers are absolutely ridiculous. If anyone has paid attention, even though HP numbers have doubled in the last 5 years for supercars 0-60 times haven't changed. The biggest factor in acceleration at this point is GRIP. You can triple your power and not change your 0-60 because you didn't increase your grip.
But as we know, acceleration is never linear. The faster you are going the slower you accelerate due to less torque and more wind drag. But see what I said above anyways, their time is way off reality.

No offence kevin
. But time is not calculated by multiplying with 6.And also I didn't consider other aspects.

Second, I am just wondering how you came up with your calculations. I am not attacking you, I just can't find any way to possibly get what you got. Even my clearly wrong, underestimated x6 calculation is slower than yours.
And you can multiply time by 6. Time is a linear unit. So is distance.

First off, I have never worked at SSC, although I would love to.

Accept your fate.
